As the Director of Operations and Chief of Staff, you will play a critical role in optimizing our company's performance, fostering operational excellence, and supporting the executive team in achieving strategic objectives. You will collaborate closely with various departments to drive cross-functional initiatives, streamline processes, and enhance organizational efficiency. This position reports directly to the CEO and offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our company's success.

We're looking for a Director of Operations and Chief of Staff to join our growing team. As the Director of Operations and Chief of Staff, you will play a critical role in optimizing our company's performance, fostering operational excellence and cross-functional collaboration, and supporting the executive team in achieving strategic objectives. You’re most likely to be successful in this role if you are a motivated self-starter, driven by a strong sense of urgency and the ability to take ownership of projects and drive them to completion autonomously.

Organization

This position reports directly to the CEO and offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our company's success.

Additionally, you will engage in close collaboration with the executive team and departmental leaders, spanning from finance, sales, and marketing to product development.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Execution:

    • Work closely with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute strategic initiatives aimed at achieving company objectives.
    • Lead the development and implementation of operational plans, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

Operational Excellence:

    • Identify opportunities to optimize processes, improve workflows, and enhance operational efficiency across all departments.
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track progress and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Project Management and OKRs:

    • Lead and manage the Project Management Office (PMO) function, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
    • Develop and implement best practices, methodologies, and tools for project management and execution.
    • Drive the implementation and adoption of Objectives and Key Results (OKR) methodology across the organization, working closely with departmental leaders to ensure alignment with company objectives.
    • Establish and maintain metrics to track OKR/project progress and drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring objectives are achieved effectively and efficiently.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Serve as a liaison between different departments, fostering collaboration and communication to drive alignment and cohesion.
    • Facilitate cross-functional meetings, initiatives, and projects to address business challenges and drive results.

Executive Support:

    • Provide high-level support to the CEO and executive team, including managing schedules, preparing presentations, and coordinating meetings.
    • Assist in establishing and maintaining the operating rhythm of the company, ensuring effective communication and coordination of key activities and initiatives.
    • Conduct research, analysis, and provide strategic insights to support decision-making and drive results.
    • Conduct all business in accordance with MessageGears policies and procedures
    • All other duties as assigned.
