Job Description
RideNow Powersports Georgetown, a subsidiary of RumbleOn, is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, friendly individual to join our Shipping/Receiving team as an Associate! As a part of RumbleOn, you will be part of the country's largest retailer of powersports. The ideal Shipping amp; Receiving Associate candidate will have knowledge of powersports or automotive parts, logistics, managing inventory, and excel in customer service roles!
Responsibilities:
- Unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise or material
- Stock all parts and accessories in their correct bins and/or locations
- Update inventory control system and parts catalog
- Conduct or participate in periodic physical inventory of all merchandise (counts, reports, etc.)
- Ship all parts and accessories in accordance with the carrier's shipping instructions (i.e., route, UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc)
- Provide excellent customer service to all of the dealership's customers
- Handle telephone transactions quickly and courteously
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- 1+ year experience in a parts warehouse or parts counter at a dealership
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, work in stooped, crouched, or kneeling positions frequently
- Superior customer service skills
- Strong data entry skills
- Attention to detail
- Previous experience with EVO preferred
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or other related fields preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High sense of urgency
- Ability to complete tasks accurately in an organized fashion with little direction
