Job Description:
As a Vaping Engineer at The Blinc Group, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our vaping hardware products. You will leverage your expertise in failure analysis, materials science, and data analysis to drive product innovation, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver superior customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Identify root causes of issues with vaping hardware and implement corrective actions.
- Develop a deep understanding of key filling and capping equipment providers, their products, and streamline filling and calling operations on-site.
- Evaluate the impact of variability in cannabis concentrates on vaping hardware parameter settings, and optimize performance accordingly.
- Utilize knowledge of automated puffing machines to simulate real-world usage scenarios and validate product performance.
- Apply materials expertise to optimize vape pod/cartridge components, including but not limited to wicking materials, heating coils, ceramic atomizers, rubber seals, injection-molded plastics, metallic and electrical components.
- Perform data analysis, including competitive analysis of vape cartridges and devices, to drive product improvements and innovation.
- Employ innovative thinking to troubleshoot.
- Add value to the product developmentteam by leveraging knowledgeand experience.
- Cultivate strong customer relationships, build rapport, and earn client trust through exceptional communication and service.
- Demonstrate business acumen by directing testing, troubleshooting, and Ramp;D activities.
- Willingness to travel 50-60% of the time to collaborate with clients, suppliers, and partners.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the cannabis industry.
- Advanced degree in engineering, chemistry, physics, or related field.
