CSBio is a leading biotech company in the peptide industry, and for over 30 years has been providing peptide manufacturing and instrumentation to major academic and industry partners through the Ramp;D, clinical, and commercialization phase for pharmaceutical therapeutics.
We are welcoming a Project Coordinator to join us at our Mountain View site to support the Instrumentation team, located a few blocks off the N Shoreline Blvd 101 exit. CSBio's instrumentation team builds products that include peptide synthesizers, DNA synthesizers, and LC purification equipment (learn more here: https://www.csbio.com/synthesizer).
Job responsibilities include the following:
- Coordinate between design, supply chain, receiving, and manufacturing.
- Provide essential team support by tracking and maintaining purchase tracking of materials, following up with suppliers on shipments, and coordinating material and documentation to the appropriate manufacturing builds.
- Coordinate system build completion, packaging, and shipping.
- Track, record and communicate ongoing project status.
- Support the planning of system builds by inputting information into the master schedule and initiate work orders, establish system builds based on customer priorities, material availability, and worker availability.
- Coordinate system build completion, packaging, and shipping.
- Generate and prepare reports on projects to identify success metrics and areas of improvement.
- Maintain and organize documentation to meet quality management system requirements.
- Schedule and ensure assembled parts are built to achieve minimum inventory quantities.
- Work with suppliers on returning non-conforming products and follow up appropriately.
- Monitor continual improvement projects to determine areas to enhance operational efficiencies, improve quality and implement scalable solutions.
- Be an advocate for organizational processes to employees within various roles, and implement new organizational processes as required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma and minimum Associates Degree; Bachelors Degree Preferred
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in project coordination, project management or quality. Compensation dependent on experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with cross functional teams and personnel; capable of influencing with a positive attitude to achieve results.
- Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent activities.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Project planning, attention to detail and critical thinking
- Willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic and proactive problem-solving.
- This is a full time on-site / in-person role. Our office is open Monday Thursday from 8AM to 5PM, and Friday from 8AM to 12PM.
