Essential Job Duties
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and temperature guidelines.
- Adhere to daily par sheets for appropriate levels of food preparation.
- Label and date all food items and store them in proper containers and storage areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, including equipment and work areas.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
Requirements
- Currently have food handler certification or be willing to obtain certification within 30 days of employment.
- At least 1 year of experience preparing food in a restaurant/commercial kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and methods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail.
