Overview

We are looking for an experienced Agile Product Owner who will play a pivotal role in driving the development of cutting-edge data products.This role will be responsible for defining and prioritizing features, ensuring product alignment with business objectives, and maximizing value throughout the development lifecycle. This involves close collaboration with multiple cross functional teams and various stakeholders in a large enterprise environment. Agile framework experience is necessary. This is a remote consulting role. Qualified candidates must live in the United States and be authorized to work without requiring visa sponsorship.

Duties amp; Responsibilities

  • Develop a clear and compelling product vision in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Align product strategy with business goals, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Write user stories, build out product requirements and document product roadmaps.
  • Manage and understand product deliverables, features and functionalities.
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog with input from stakeholders and development teams.
  • Define and prioritize user stories, epics, and features to ensure the timely delivery of valuable increments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document product requirements.
  • Ensure that user stories are well-defined, granular, and ready for development.
  • Participate in release planning, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Work with development teams to plan and prioritize releases, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products.
  • Provide continuous support to development teams, answering questions and providing clarifications on requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address challenges and facilitate smooth development processes.
  • Create strong PowerPoint presentations, organize and drive stakeholder meetings and prep materials.
  • Analyze and interpret data creating valuable data driven decisions.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of products.
  • Use data and feedback to iterate on the product and drive continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with QA teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
  • Participate in testing activities and validate the product meets defined acceptance criteria.

Requirements

Desired Skills amp; Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in Agile development environments.
  • Strong background in data product development, with knowledge of data analytics, machine learning, or other related areas.
  • Experience with formal project/program management methodology and strong familiarity with Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and make informed decisions based on business goals.
  • Experience in an environment with high speed data products, network technologies, telecommunications/broadband or WiFi solutions.
  • Ideally, technical expertise in one of the 5 following areas- network technologies, WiFi domain and router features, internet, network and mobile technologies, inventory management, order management, and/or product provisioning.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, succinctly and with all levels of management
  • Ability to be organized, detail oriented and make good decisions in fast paced environment.

Education amp; Certifications

  • Bachelors degree is required in Computer Science, IT, Business, or other quantitative fields
  • PMP or Scrum certification is preferred

Compensation

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Sand Cherry Associates is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This is a long-term consulting engagement, with an expected salary range of $110-130k.
