The Role

About the role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer for the Ads Team at Rokt, you will be leading initiatives on an autonomous, high-performing team. You will be the owner of components of the overall Rokt product and be responsible for the delivery of features, mentoring junior members of the team, working with the product team to build our advertising platform, and driving technical excellence. This position will require architectural vision as we build and deploy the next generation of Rokt's software.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and proposing improvements to the current system architecture that emphasize reliability and scalability
• Working with the product and engineering teams to produce development plans and see through to delivery and success
• Growing and mentoring the team, ensuring continuity and ongoing career development
• Contributing to the collaborative development processes within the organization on both product and technical domains

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience in commercial software development experience designing, building, and operating frontend applications.
• Comprehensive programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript along with modern frontend frameworks and libraries
• Robust skills in HTML and CSS best practices, including inner workings of the DOM, iFrames, and security features
• Insights and intrigue in building high performance secure client side applications nested within critical components of partners multi-page and single-page applications
• Learn quickly: demonstrated ability to quickly understand and absorb new information. Passion for technology and eager to dive-in to figure out how things work
• Problem solving skills: able to use first principles - using both qualitative and quantitative data - to solve complex problems
• Leadership: mentor amp; help organize engineering contributors, work with the product team to gather requirements amp;
