avad3 Event Production is looking for a personable and energetic HR Generalist to help us continue to grow!

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a small business, we’ve experienced tremendous growth over the past few years. We’ve scaled up, established our culture, and now are ready for the next phase of growth.

We are looking for an HR Generalist to manage the talent acquisition and recruitment processes as well as to support team member onboarding, training and development, and team member engagement.

THE PERFECT FIT

As an HR Generalist you will lead efforts for all talent acquisition. In addition you will be asked to manage a wide range of HR tasks, like organizing training, crafting HR policies and keeping up with HR analytics for the team.

Ultimately you would ensure that avad3 attracts, hires and retains the best employees while growing a strong talent pipeline and support the People Function overall. You’re eager to serve in an environment where you are valued and where you can make a difference in a fast-growing small business.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the talent acquisition and recruitment processes
  • Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training and development initiatives
  • Assist in development and implementation of HR policies
  • Undertake tasks around performance management like organizing performance reviews
  • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and team member retention
  • Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  • Three to five years of HR experience, particularly in recruiting
  • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, etc.)
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes (video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference checks)
  • Familiarity with HR databases and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Understanding of general HR policies and procedures
  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
  • HR project management capability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Tech-savvy on Mac, iOS

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Experience within the audio visual industry
