Production Assistant

The primary purpose of this job is to provide support for the engineering dept.

1. Must have strong organizational skills and work on projects with others.
2. Print and distribute all necessary production documents.
3. Generate all paint lists.
4. Enter material requirements into Epicor.
5. Generate all job travelers information.
6. Create Truss drawings as needed.
7. Generate all PDFs as required.
8. Release Structural Drawings to the Shop.

Requirements

• Displays effective written and oral communication.
• Follows instructions, responds to management direction, takes responsibility for own actions, keeps commitments, completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.
• Speaks clearly and persuasively in all situations. Listens and gets clarification. Demonstrates group presentation skills. Participates in meetings. Writes clearly and informatively.
• Strong Organizational skills - Prioritizes and plans work activities. Uses time efficiently.
• Technical Skills - Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills. Shares expertise with others.
• Must be able to lift up to 25lbs. on occasion.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Must be able to multi-task, be detailed oriented and possess good time management.
• High school diploma
