Hire Resolve's client is a well-established accounting firm located in Austin, TX. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Income Tax Staff/Senior to join the team. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing tax services to their clients and contribute to the growth and success of their firm.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and reviewing federal and state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
- Assisting with tax planning and research for clients
- Identifying and mitigating tax risks for clients
- Communicating with clients to provide status updates on their tax returns
- Assisting with tax audits
- Maintaining knowledge of current tax laws and regulations
- Supporting other tax-related projects and functions as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- CPA or enrolled agent certification
- At least 2 years of experience in tax preparation and planning
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Expertise in tax software (e.g. ProSystem FX, CCH Axcess)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
