Job Description
RideNow Powersports Lewisville, a subsidiary of RumbleOn, is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, friendly individual to join our Parts team! The ideal Shipping and Receiving candidate will have knowledge of powersports or automotive parts, logistics and inventory management.
Responsibilities:
- Place orders for parts as needed from vendors
- Unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise or material
- Inspect orders for damage, report and return unfit items
- Stock all parts and accessories in their correct bins and/or locations
- Pull, label, and set items for repair orders in designated areas
- Conduct or participate in periodic physical inventory of all merchandise (counts, reports etc.)
- Ship all parts and accessories in accordance with the carrier's shipping instructions (i.e., route, UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc)
- Maintain cleanliness of the Parts department and keep inventory neatly stacked and orderly
- Handle telephone transactions quickly, and courteously
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a parts warehouse or at a parts counter within a dealership
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or other related fields preferred
- Superior customer service skills
- Strong data entry skills
- Attention to detail
- Previous experience with EVO preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to complete tasks accurately in an organized fashion with little direction
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, work in stooped, crouched, or kneeling positions frequently
