Real Estate Development Summer 2024 Internship

In this internship, you will assist the Development team in multiple facets, including but not limited to:

• Support and Assist development team in working with Lincoln Ventures Investment and Executive teams to facilitate Feasibility studies and Conceptual designs.
• Assist in market research including market visits to identify comp set of properties, amenities, rents, etc.
• Support and Assist the work breakdown structure, project scheduling, logistics, budgeting and administrative activities
• Monitor progress of work by architects, consultants and contractors
• Record meeting minutes, action items, and establish follow up procedures
• Track budget, expenditures and status of projects
• Support and Assist in Developing prequalified bidders list to facilitate and organize general contractor bid opportunities and proposal information. This to include solicitation of bids, distribution of responses, collection and summary overview of qualifications.
• Review of design and project documents as they progress through all phases of work: Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, Bidding and Permitting.
• Assisting in Construction transition in efforts related to: Project approval and permitting; preconstruction logistics, utility relocations and general project construction transition action items, as needed.
• Execute market investigation to assist in design criteria studies and project evaluations.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a B.A, B.S, BBA or MA.
• Must be able to work 15-20 hours per week.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Bonus Skills: Data Analytics, Revit, and previous market research experience
• Shows strong interest in real estate project management.
• Demonstrates strong work ethic and ability to think critically.
• The ability to identify avenues to advance projects and improve the process within the firm.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Benefits

This paid internship will run from May 2024 to August 2024 with the possibility to continue into the fall. The internship will be approximately 15 25 hours per week.
