Job Overview
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to develop our client relationships in North America.
As a Business Development Manager at A Society, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our organization. A Society has a well-developed network and business model. We intend to leverage our success and experience in Europe and the US to address the evolving needs of the North American market.
In this position, you will have broad day-to-day responsibilities, including expansion of industries, service offerings, determining go-to-market strategies, cultivating, and managing customer and consultant relationships, and, as we grow this practice area, identifying and hiring additional resources to help support this business. This is a ground floor opportunity to help us develop this industry practice in our rapidly growing North American business.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic startup ecosystem and contribute to the development of innovative solutions across various industries and sectors. The ideal Business Development Manager should understand Ramp;D and IT consultant services.
You should have the following skills and experience:
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation
- Expertise in the Ramp;D and IT consulting services market, with an understanding of consulting services businesses/business models
- Existing relationships at leading industry companies with independent suppliers of Ramp;D and IT consulting services (automotive industry is a plus)
- Track record of maintaining and growing existing customer and consultant relationships
- Ability/desire to successfully develop and cultivate both new customer accounts and new consultant relationships
- Proven history of developing successful sales and marketing plans and exceeding sales targets/quotas
- Track record of working successfully in a small rapidly growing team with a startup-like environment
- Ability to perform well with minimal direction
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in business development or sales roles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
- Results-driven with a focus on exceeding targets
- B.S./B.A. degree required; M.S. degree preferred

- Competitive Base Salary: $80,000-$100,000 (minimum 3+ years exp)
