What you will be doing:
- Collaborates cross-departmentally to support internal an unwavering focus on customer service to internal and external customers
- Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint, protecting or removing pictures, electric switch covers, utilizing drop cloths and tape to project fixtures and furniture, etc.
- Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material (e.g. plaster)
- Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture
- Paint surfaces according to internal customer’s instructions with various tools such as brushes, spray gun or paint rollers
- Apply coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel or lacquer to decorate and protect internal and exterior surfaces, trimmings and fixtures of buildings and other structures
- Excellent knowledge of painting material and how to select, mix and apply them
- Solid knowledge of commercial and/or construction painting techniques
- Aptitude in using appropriate tools (brushes, caulking guns etc.)
- Manual dexterity with excellent balance to work on ladders
- Conscientious with great attention to detail
- Represents a team-player spirit when assigned other duties as required

- You possess unwavering attention to detail and reliability on completing tasks that can be repetitive
- You are a self-starter who is comfortable switching gears rapidly and making decisions in ambiguous situations
- Due to the nature of the business, this position may require work on the weekends as needed. We’re mindful that in order for you to be the most effective in your role, it’s important that you balance that work with time to rest, so we offer PTO and other benefits to support you
