Job Description
Are you looking for your next challenge supporting research amp; development? Come join a dynamic team supporting the Defense Threat Reduction Agency's (DTRA) Research and Development (RD) Directorate! ARServices is seeking a qualified candidate to support the DTRA RD Nuclear Technologies Department/Nuclear Assessment Division (RD-NTA) team that includes:
- Providing Research amp; Development (Ramp;D) program management and integration advice and assistance to NTA leadership focused on nuclear wargaming concepts and technologies, treaty monitoring and verification, arms control, and post-detonation nuclear forensics.
- Assisting in the development of program plans/objectives and coordination of Ramp;D activities across DoD/interagency.
- Providing short-notice, high profile programmatic support (e.g., presentations, reports).
- Preparing and staffing correspondence and other documents (e.g., position papers, white papers, awards, memos, acquisition documents) for senior leader coordination/approval.
- Assisting in the preparation of the RD-NTA five-year Program Objective Memorandum (POM) build, to include the Division briefing to Department leadership and the accompanying workbooks.
- Tracking, coordinating, and responding to internal and external taskers, both on the unclassified and classified networks.
- Supporting the development, version control, and quality control of briefings and other engagements within RD-NTA.
- Plan, organize and facilitate staff meetings with program managers and the NTA Division Leadership.
- Providing records management support.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizen who has a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Bachelor’s degree plus 15-20 years or more of related experience. Master’s degree is highly desired.
- Experience working within senior levels of the Department of Defense (e.g., Joint Staff, Military Services, or OSD).
- Executive level oral and written communication skills. Able to effectively communicate with senior leadership.
- Strong program management skills managing complex, multifaceted projects resulting in measurable success and growth.
- General understanding of information technology terminology.
- Comprehensive understanding of nuclear and radiological technologies
Desired Qualifications
- General knowledge of PPBE, and DoD/federal acquisition.
- Certified Project Management Professional or ability to obtain.
- Completion of Defense Acquisition University PM Level II courses or ability to complete.
- Experience working at and/or with DTRA.
- General understanding of WMD/CBRN.
