Job Overview

Pestie is looking for a Controller that will be integral in the planning and execution of our vision. Our ideal Controller is self-motivated, results-oriented, forward-thinking, and has a demonstrated track record in ecommerce finance and accounting. Pestie is a fast-growing company looking for an individual who is highly adaptable and is willing to roll up their sleeves to get things done. This role will report directly to the executive team and will be influential in the future of Pestie.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of accounting for Pestie: Month-end and quarter-end closes, annual financial audits, GAAP compliance, insurance, state entity licensing, FPamp;A, 12-week cash forecasts, etc.
• Responsible for managing and implementing all financial controls.
• Work closely with our operations team at month end to ensure all financial transactions are accurate.
• Communicate financial information in an understandable way to people of all levels in the company.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting. MAcc or CPA preferred.
• 3+ years of proven work experience.
• Proficient in the month-end closing process and managing financial audits.
• Skilled in cash management and forecasting.
• Proficient in payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local tax reporting requirements.
• Strong data management and analytical skills.
• Innovative in problem solving and process improvement.

Salary range - 80k to 90k DOE
