Job Description
A leading Title Insurance Company in the Chicago market is looking to add an experienced Underwriter/Attorney to their team. JD preferred, but not mandatory. Excellent Pay and benefits. A great opportunity for the right candidate.
Purpose:
To determine, direct and implement the manner of applying Company underwriting, examining, closing/settlement policies, procedures and practices for our client’s title insurance Chicagoland operations.
Candidate must have experience in Commercial amp; Residential Underwriting for a Title Insurance Company (prefer 3 year minimum). Must be organized, have the ability to multi-task, help organize workload for Title Department Staff. Good communication skills/customer service oriented. Overall superior planning and time management skills.

Sr.Underwriter
Candidate should have extensive title underwriting experience firm understanding of compliance and settlement including disbursements and funding. Direct client contact. Minimum of 3 years experience in running files, JD preferred, but not mandatory.
