Job Description

C amp; B Equipment, a progressive family-owned company that has grown over 30 years to include John Deere Ag, material handling and power sports locations has an opening for an experienced Recruiter for its material handling division. This position will be based out of our Sioux Falls, SD office location, working within our Human Resources department.

As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for managing the full cycle recruiting experience, from talent sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring great employees, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers. A successful recruiter will collaborate with hiring managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs. Our ideal recruiter holds an academic HR background combined with work experience in screening, interviewing, and assessing candidates. You should also be able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals.

Essential Duties:

  • Assist with the design and development of our overall recruiting strategy.
  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications. Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership teams and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Source and attract qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates’ qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
  • Manage the interview process, coordinating schedules, and providing feedback to candidates.
  • Ensure our company attracts, hires, and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline.
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Utilize applicant tracking systems to manage candidate pipelines and maintain accurate recruitment data.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Recruiter in a fast-paced environment, preferably within the manufacturing or material handling industry.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and other HR software.
  • Willing to travel, as needed, for candidate outreach and meetings with regional leadership teams throughout our company locations.
