Job Description
POSITION
Substitute Teacher (Washington, DC) (SY 2023-2024)
Schedule: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm EST Monday through Friday (excluding school holidays)
COMPENSATION
$160.00 - $200.00 per day, contract role
The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.

OUR PARTNER CHARTER
The school is a public charter school from Pre-K through 7th grade that serves a diverse group of learners across three locations in Wards 5 and 6. They use the EL Education model, which emphasizes interactive, hands-on, project-based learning, and focuses on the whole child.

Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field (Must have)
- Valid teaching certification/license (Nice to have)
- Minimum of 1 years of teaching experience in a classroom setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and other staff members.
- Thorough understanding and expertise in the subject area being taught.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in using educational technology tools.
- Experience in lesson planning and preparation.
