Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients and provide tax planning and compliance services
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
- Research and interpret tax laws and regulations
- Assist clients with tax audits and provide resolution to tax-related issues
- Monitor and stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations
- Mentor and supervise junior tax staff
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA certification
- Minimum 5 years of experience in tax accounting
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite
