About this role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Technician to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have some background in accounting, demonstrated proficiency in QuickBooks, and possess excellent organizational and analytical skills. This role will required a dynamic skill set in order to manage various accounting.
What you’ll do:
- Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Reconcile vendor statements and address discrepancies in a timely manner
- Prepare and process accounts payable
- Assist with reconciling PO’s and invoices
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all payables
- Assist in month-end and year-end close procedures
- Reconcile credit cards and general ledger accounts
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports
- Utilize QuickBooks for daily accounting tasks, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and relevant regulations
- Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations

Requirements
We are looking for:
- Desired Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1-3 years of accounting experience
- Proficient in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
