Responsibilities:

· Conduct initial assessments to understand clients' needs and goals.

· Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to clients' unique circumstances.

· Provide evidence-based counseling services to individuals, couples, and families.

· Collaborate with clients to explore coping strategies and enhance resilience.

· Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical standards.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

Qualifications:

  • Active state license: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the unique challenges and mental health issues prevalent among hospital patients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and collaborate with a diverse medical community.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and brief therapy models suitable for a hospital counseling center environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting, manage a diverse caseload, and prioritize tasks effectively.
