The Senior Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of projects for large, multi-site accounts. The Senior Enterprise Program Manager must be able to marshal internal resources, leverage process, manage financials and customer relationships while directing subcontractors in the field across multiple locations and projects. S/He must be able to forecast and budget, manage a portfolio of projects, compile client documents, read installation drawings, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. The Senior Enterprise Program Manager must be a personable, knowledgeable self-starter who makes sound decisions remotely that are in the best interest of the project, the customer, and Unlimited Technology. S/He must be able to adapt and recommend changes to a project while in the field based on local conditions that were not identified earlier and are aligned with overall account priorities. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work closely with subcontractors and customers are essential to success in this role. This position requires passing random drug, alcohol and background checks.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Strategize, implement, and maintain repeatable program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives.
  • Manage client relationships with large national and international clients and manage projects across multiple locations.
  • Supervise multiple projects in large accounts implementing Managed Services, Access Control and CCTV systems according to engineered drawings.
  • Conduct in-house and job-site meetings to ensure project deliveries in line with client expectations and communications.
  • Control costs and invoicing across the client, region and market segment.
  • Financially forecast multiple projects from start or project through to completion.
  • Able to write and manage Scope of work documents for subcontractors and change orders for clients.
  • Manage Subcontractors and UTI installers.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and demeanor at all times.
  • Set and manage stakeholder expectations and execute project schedules to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct job analysis identifying labor and material shortages and make recommendations to preclude shortfalls.
  • Must be willing to travel some of the time, sometimes on short notice.
  • Must be able to identify and resolve issues that would have a negative impact on job productivity.
  • Ensure all UTI safety programs, and project management methods are followed.
  • Attend any product or safety training that is required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree preferred.
  • PMI or equivalent certification. Program Management Institute certification preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience managing large programs or leading a project management office.
  • Current OSHA 30 certification or the ability to obtain it within six months.
  • Proficient in the use of a computer, with MS Word, Excel, and MS Project skill sets.
  • Knowledge of basic IP networking, civil engineering, security networks and vendors.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to work well and interact with other UTI leadership as well as senior UTI customers.
  • Strong work ethic and teamwork; can do attitude and desire to provide best service. Exceptional interpersonal and communication Skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision; must be a self-starter and quick learner.
