Job Description
We are seeking a Senior XR 3D Designer to join our rapidly expanding team, dedicated to advancing the future of AR/VR/XR technologies and deeply understanding customer needs. The ideal candidate will bring a solid foundation in 3D design, from Architecture or Industrial Design backgrounds, and exhibit strong creative leadership capabilities, capable of evolving ideas from concept sketches to full execution. Requirements
- Enhance our design culture and processes, contributing to innovation across our worldwide design organization.
- Employ conceptual thinking to collaborate with designers of various disciplines, creating pioneering VR user experiences.
- Guide 3D, visual, and interaction designers, helping to visualize design concepts for internal teams, product groups, and executives.
- Convert concept art into immersive 3D experiences, ensuring alignment with strategic insights and functional integration.
- Stay informed on new digital technologies and trends, leveraging this knowledge to inspire new possibilities in our creative endeavors.
- Assist in crafting and delivering compelling presentations that combine strategic insight with visual impact.
- Innovate and refine workflows and processes, enhancing team efficiency and productivity.
- Act as a source of inspiration and motivation across departments, championing a culture of creativity and innovation.
Basic Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of experience in Architecture, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in directing the visual, creative, and technical development of interactive or AR/VR experiences.
- Proficiency in 3D rendering software (e.g., Key shot) and CAD software (e.g., Rhino, Grasshopper).
- Skilled in Figma for brainstorming and Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects) for video editing and presentations.
- Exceptional design sensibility, with an eye for clean, impactful, and contemporary visuals.
- Strong command of design fundamentals, coupled with excellent visual, verbal, and written communication skills.
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach, thriving in a fast-paced team environment.
Nice to Have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in Agency, Creative, or B2B settings.
- UX/UI design skills tailored to AR/VR platforms.
- Knowledge of Unreal 4/5, Unity 3D, or similar engines, and familiarity with a range of 3D packages (Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya).
- Understanding of the asset integration process within Unity 3D.
