Requirements
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for individuals with psychiatric disorders
- Monitor and evaluate patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Prescribe and manage medications
- Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families regarding treatment options and strategies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatric Mental Health
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Minimum of 1yearof experience as an NP in a psychiatric setting
- Proficiency in telehealth technology and virtual patient care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload
- Knowledge of mental health legislation and best practices
