Role and Responsibilities

The Powder Coating Set Up/Sprayer is responsible for masking, paint selection, and programming the controller for automated sprayers and oven temperatures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Understand paint call outs and masking requirements.
• Understand programming of automated sprayer system.
• Knowledge of reclaiming overspray paint.
• Collaborate with shop personnel and project engineers.
• The ability to identify paint type and color.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years of experience with powder coating
• Minimum 4 years of experience in precision sheet metal
• Understanding of different powder curing needs
• Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Powder sprayer experience
• New product introduction experience
