Job Description

OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEWZeroFox seeks a Customer Marketing Manager with a passion for building stronger relationships with customers through engaging marketing campaigns in a B2B environment. Their mission is to help build a community of fanatical brand advocates. This person will work closely with our Director of Customer Marketing to help develop our global customer marketing strategy and execution across the US and international markets to increase customer advocacy, identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and increase loyalty and retention.Role and responsibilities
  • Build rapport with customers to increase renewals, referrals, and cross-sell /upsell opportunities
  • Lead and manage customer engagement and communication programs, such as in-person/virtual events, workshops, annual conferences, awards programs, onboarding and ongoing nurture campaigns
  • Connect with customers to ensure continued education and success throughout the relationship lifecycle
  • Identify key customers that can act as a marketing channel through case studies, speaking opportunities, etc.
  • Help marketing and sales meet business objectives through customer advocacy initiatives
  • Compose and send customer emails, including automated workflows to support onboarding, adoption, retention, and renewal
  • Manage and maintain engagement and advocacy programs; continually recruiting new customer advocates
  • Manage a library of up-to-date customer success stories
  • Managerecurring customer satisfaction surveys to drive organizational changeDevelop a customer lifecycle campaign program and work with marketing operations to implement
  • Create special marketing content for account management and customer success teams to help at-risk customers with training
  • Target happy customers for upsell, cross-sell, and advocacy opportunities
  • Provide product feedback given by advocates to the Product Management team
  • Support planning and executing marketing campaigns and strategies advocating for our brand
Required qualifications and skills
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or equivalent experience
  • Professional experience spanning roles in Customer Marketing, Customer Service, Customer Success, and/or Account Management, typically obtained in 5-7 years
  • Familiarity with B2B SaaS Marketing, lead generation, and sales processes
  • Ability to work directly with creative, product, sales, and communications teams to partner on campaigns focused on success, retention, and growth
  • Experience creating and executing marketing campaigns and programs that drive customer engagement and advocacy
  • Self-driven ownership to meet and exceed goals and expectations
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive mindset
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and shift workload to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools, encompassing CRM systems and email marketing platforms
  • Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/social media etc.)

  • This position will report to the Director, Customer Marketing
  • This position may entail up to 5% travel
  • This role is based out of our office in Baltimore, MD (hybrid)
  • This role requires occasional work on nights and weekends as needed.
