Design Automation Engineer (SolidWorks DriveWorks)

The Design Automation Engineer will assist in the programming and implementation of engineering technology and customizations. This person will be part of a small team of programmers/designers for Trachte’s automated design solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Developing automated design solutions in DriveWorks
• Work with others to collect and organize design requirements
• Design in SolidWorks or with a SolidWorks designer
• Implement initial and ongoing design automation training
• Coordinate SQL data communication

Requirements

• Strong programming and logic experience is required
• Sheet metal design experience is required
• Experience with 3D modeling required; SolidWorks experience is preferred
• Experience with DriveWorks is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including ability to interface at all levels
• Organized, focused, and results-oriented with the ability to work on multiple parallel projects
• Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
• Working knowledge of MS Excel
• Ability to work in a team environment
