Sales Engineer, GSS team

This role sits in the Global Sales Strategy team. The Zappi sale is complex, requiring both an enterprise sales cycle and often a detailed research methodology validation as part of the solution validation stage. The Sales Strategy team works jointly with salespeople, onboarding, Customer Success and leadership to address complex research topics during a sales cycle.

We are looking for a Sales Engineer role who can partner with the experts within Global Sales Strategy, other sales team members and prospects to conduct pilot research including on our advanced tools. You will also support validation and data analyses to bring the power of the Zappi insights engine to life. You are part sales-focused Customer Success and part Data Analytics Power User.

  • Prospect Value Your #1 goal is to ensure prospects and customers that run pilots and Proofs of Concept as part of their Zappi evaluation, learn the value of Zappi’s platform and ultimately subscribe to Zappi as a customer. You will partner with prospects to achieve their desired outcomes and identify and resolve any blockers to success.
  • Tool/Platform Expert You will need to be an expert on all of our tools and our platform so that you can advise prospects and customers on the best possible solutions and optimisations to achieve their business goals.
  • Data Analytics - You will leverage the advanced analytics of the Zappi platform to support individual sales efforts as well as larger-scale validation and meta analyses.

Requirements

  • Experience working closely with customers in a fast-paced enterprise environment
  • Strong data analytical skills
  • Proficient in Gmail, G-Suite and Mac OS. Proficiency in SalesForce and Notion a plus
  • A strong curiosity and interest in technology, marketing, market research, consumer insights, and contributing to the growth of large organisations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure clear and impactful interactions with customers and stakeholders
  • Highly responsive while maintaining attention to detail
  • Proactive, highly driven and self-motivated
  • Strong team player, able to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and also able to take ownership of tasks
  • Comfortable working with tight deadlines while delivering results that contribute to overall objectives
  • Maintain composure in high-pressure situations, ensuring effective problem-solving and decision-making
  • Able to work regularly from our hub in Boston. New York City or Chicago may also be considered

  • Salary range $74,000 - $84,000 per annum + 10% potential annual bonus tied to the company and you achieving various performance targets.
