The Washington State Democrats’ Coordinated Campaign is seeking an Operations Manager to join our 2024 campaign cycle. With a contested Senate race, open Governor's race, and multiple targeted congressional races, the Operations Manager will be critical to the success of countless elections in 2024.
This job is a full-time, campaign cycle position, with an end date of November 30, 2024 and is a part of the collective bargaining agreement. Evening and weekend work will be required, particularly as we get closer to the 2024 General Election.

Requirements
Core Competencies
- The Operations Manager is responsible for assisting the Senior Operations Director with managing the coordinated campaign budget, accurately tracking projected expenses, leading on temporary office operations, and serving as the human resources lead for the Coordinated Campaign Staff
- Unwavering commitment to winning Democratic majorities at all levels in Washington state, and a demonstrated commitment to the Democratic Party
- Demonstrated ability to work inclusively and collaboratively with a diverse staff, activists, allies, and stakeholders
Experience
- One to two cycles of political organizing experience preferred
- Experience with managing a budget
- Experience with opening offices, hiring, and managing staff
- Detail oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Suite
- Ability to adapt to evolving priorities
- Comfortable working in metrics and deadline driven environment
- A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and the ability to work evening and weekend hours
Responsibilities
- Campaign office location research, acquisition, and establishment
- Managing daily materials needs for field staff including phone and internet access, technology installation/support, and the establishment of processes to track needs and deliverables
- Purchasing, inventorying, and delivering campaign literature, volunteer incentive materials, and office supplies
- Working closely with the Coordinated Campaign Director to maintain the coordinated campaign budget
- Facilitating onboarding, training, offboarding, and human resources needs of coordinated staff
- Other duties as required

Salary is $6,066 per month, with comprehensive health care, vision, and dental coverage; mileage and phone stipend; paid time off, sick leave, bereavement, and paid observed holidays. This position is a part of the Coordinated Campaign’s collective bargaining agreement.
