Job Description

Karya Property Management/Nitya Capital is looking for a highly motivated and detailed System Support Specialist to join our IT team full time. MUST be experienced in RealPage amp; MRI Systems. The RealPage Support Specialist will primarily provide support to our property teams nationwide for all RealPage Systems including ticketing and troubleshooting.

Karya is a property management firm overseeing 50 multifamily apartment communities throughout Texas as well as Indiana, Nevada, Florida, Tennessee, and Arizona. This role would be a great addition to our team and provide full support to not only our property staff, as well as our Corporate Houston staff members.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Review, Support and Troubleshoot Property and Corporate user issues. This would involve phone support, email, video calls or an occasional visit to the property.
  • Own and troubleshoot challenging issues and escalate to appropriate parties as needed.
  • Partner with RealPage, MRI, and other vendors as required to find solutions and implement best practices.
  • Manage all Roles and Access permissionsfor all RealPage products and perform onboarding / offboarding access requirements
  • Manage Admin Level settings for property portfolio and tweak system behaviors.
  • Manage tickets on the Ticketing system and maintain SLA, including regular reporting of ticket counts and turnaround times.
  • Monitor and notice trends of repeat issues and explore permanent solutions or process changes.
  • Oversee all property RealPage activities, create and follow checklists for all responsible tasks, manage and document all work performed ensuring records and SOPs are updated.
  • New process set up amp; implementation using available tools and new tools
  • Continuously learn about the software platforms to be ahead of changes and updates.
  • Communicate with management teams to provide support with report building, data gathering, and daily activity navigation to adequately support team across Separate roles.
  • Conduct regular audits for all RealPage products to ensure correct access to all roles internal/external
  • Assist in data analysis, audit items.


Requirements

  • 2-3 years' experience in a similar role or a support role with excessive usage of RealPage Platform
  • Experience in multi-family housing or Commercial Real Estate
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word, MRI platform
  • Proficiency in RealPage, especially with settings, Document Package setup etc.
  • Experienced in providing Technical and Software support
  • Strong Critical thinking and analytical mindset to be able to detect problems and find the root cause as well as supply solutions.
  • Detail oriented and problem-solving skills required
  • Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to effectively handle difficult or frustrated users
  • Ability to pick up different software applications easily and quickly.
  • Persistent and motivated
  • Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
  • Detail oriented and ability to multitask

Preferred Knowledge/ Skills

  • Proficiency/ Exposure to MRI Platform.
  • Previous Multi-Family housing or Commercial experience.
  • Strong communicator over the phone and through email with the ability to build effective relationships.
  • Comfortable dealing with potentially frustrated users over the phone/ email.
  • Ability to pick up different software applications with ease.
  • Persistent and motivated individual.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:

    • Primarily office position with occasional travel to properties
    • Walking, lifting, standing, kneeling, and stooping will be regularly required.
    • Lifting will be less than 30 pounds.
