Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Environmental Services firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of an Environmental Engineer in Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities:
- Provide design and oversight support for several of our environmental design and remediation projects.
- Manage and conduct subsurface soil, hydrogeological, and sediment investigations.
- Develop conceptual remedial action plans, remedial cost estimates, and remedial designs for a variety of complex remediation and habitat restoration projects.
- Work with multi-disciplinary technical teams to bring about successful project completion.
- Respond to clients and customers.
- Prepare cost estimates for various scopes of work
Requirements
- Candidates must have 5-10+ years of environmental consulting or related experience
- Strong analytical, organizational, client management, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Work well in a team environment.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations.
- Previous experience with environmental site investigations and remediation (including under CERCLA, the Illinois Site Remediation Program, or the Great Lakes Legacy Act).
