Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Civil Engineering firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Highway Project Engineer in Newark, DE.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, conduct or coordinate detailed phases of the engineering work in a part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope
- Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects
- Perform design computations
- Design projects in accordance with client specifications and guidelines, using design software and drawing tools
- Develop construction cost estimates
- Assist in the preparation of engineering documents for advertisement and construction
- Prepare and compile contract plans, specifications and estimates
- Assist developing supplemental task proposals
- Attend meetings with clients
- Coordinate with internal team members to ensure project completion by the defined deadline and established quality
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field from an ABET accredited engineering program
- 7-12 years’ experience in specialized discipline
- Proficient in discipline specific design software such as Bentley MicroStation and Open Roads Designer
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Written and communication skills
