As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing multiple operations of the tax practice area, delivering quality tax services, and increasing the firm's reputation. Responsibilities:
- Utilize your expertise and understanding of tax laws and regulations to provide tax planning, compliance, and advisory services
- Review and analyze various tax documents, including tax returns, financial statements, and other relevant materials
- Supervise and mentor tax associates and senior associates to ensure timely and accurate completion of tax engagements
- Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations and provide guidance to clients and internal teams
- Participate in business development activities, including attending networking events and industry meetings, to expand the firm's client base
- Provide exceptional client service, building strong relationships and serving as a trusted tax advisor
Requirements
- Active CPA license is required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax
- Strong knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and tax planning
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Authorized to work in the United States
