Our client, a personal finance startup, is seeking a Data QA Engineer to join their team. The person in this role will be tasked with crafting and maintaining an automated regression suite to safeguard data integrity and streamline operations. Using AWS, Snowflake, Python, Airflow, and Machine Learning, the Data QA Engineer will be responsible for driving quality and innovation. Responsibilities

• Actively engage in Agile ceremonies to drive collaboration and efficiency across cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate closely to analyze requirements, ensuring clear understanding and alignment with project objectives.
• Formulate robust testing strategies to guarantee data integrity across ETL lifecycle, managing tables with extensive records.
• Develop intricate SQL queries to extract insights from vast datasets while upholding data integrity standards.
• Establish and sustain automated test coverage using PyTest/Python, validating business objectives and technical solutions within sprint cycles for seamless ticket certification.

Requirements

• At least 5 years in agile software development testing, crafting test plans from user stories and acceptance criteria.
• At least 3 years in database testing, particularly with Snowflake and MS SQL Server, including ETL/ELT solutions and analytics tools.Bachelor's in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficient in data warehouse concepts like star schemas, snowflakes, and dimensional modeling.
• Skilled in writing complex SQL queries, determining necessary testing types, and creating comprehensive test plans supporting business and tech solutions. Also, adept at creating automated scripts with pytest, experienced with Jira or similar bug-tracking software, self-motivated, and excels in communication. Additionally, experience in Advertisement/Financial/Digital Marketing domain is a plus.
