We have an opening for a full-time Business Analyst - Cybersecurity to join our talented, dynamic team supporting a large Federal Government customer.

The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in our Cybersecurity program for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). As a Business Analyst, you will help oversee various business and project management initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to achieve business objectives. The successful candidate will be key in driving operational efficiency, streamlining workflows, and ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements.
Duties- Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
- Develop meeting materials, such as agendas, meeting minutes, and presentations.
- Track action items and follow up with identified points of contact.
- Facilitate meetings and collaboration sessions with parties of varying perspectives, both formal and informal.
- Develop standard operating procedures, detailed instructions, after-action reports, lessons learned critiques, and operational summaries.
- Develop processes and procedures to ensure business solutions meet end goals.
- Enhance client's policy-making, strategy development, and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and the team to understand and document requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher - equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 5 years’ experience required or 8 years in lieu of degree.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and data loss prevention (DLP) is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of peers.
