As a Senior IT System Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and security of our network, Windows Server, telecommunications, and other technology infrastructure. You will collaborate on various IT projects and initiatives, with a specific focus on computer server hardware, server software, networking, and telecommunications at a global level. Under the guidance of management, you will play a crucial role in identifying, designing, implementing, and supporting technology infrastructure that aligns with our business objectives.

Responsibilities:

1. Identify, design, implement, and support technology infrastructure to align with business objectives under managerial direction.
2. Proactively solve problems and address potential issues using current Microsoft technologies and methodologies.
3. Administer and provide oversight for File/Print, Domain Controllers, Application Servers, and File Services servers in a distributed global enterprise environment.
4. Offer onsite and remote customer service for technical issues and act as a technical resource on infrastructure technologies such as computers, servers, telecommunications, cell phones, and networks.
5. Perform diagnosis, capacity planning, and performance tuning of systems to ensure optimal performance.
6. Manage operating system upgrades and implementation of security patches to enhance system security and stability.
7. Implement monitoring tools for server health administration and ensure 24x7 on-call availability.
8. Provide guidance and support to other members of the IT team, acting as a mentor as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, BCS, or a related field.
• 7 years of relevant experience, or 10 years of related experience.
• IT certifications such as Oracle, Microsoft, Citrix, and/or Cisco are a plus.
• The role may require a flexible work schedule, including on-call status, evenings, and/or weekends.
• Ability to lift computer equipment, monitors, and servers may be necessary.
