WilkinGuttenplan is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analytics Intern to join our team. As a Data Analytics Intern, you will assist with data analysis, data visualization, and process automation projects. This is a great opportunity to gain practical experience in a professional accounting firm and develop valuable skills in data analysis and visualization.
Description
· Support the development and operationalization of data analytics workflows and toolsets.
· Craft compelling data visualizations and dashboards to succinctly present analytical findings to key stakeholders.
· Engage in meticulous data preparation activities, including cleaning, manipulation, and transformation to ensure data quality and usability.
· Apply diverse analytical tools and methodologies to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights from data sets.
· Collaborate across teams to refine data acquisition, storage, and governance practices, enhancing overall data infrastructure.
· Actively participate in executing data analytics projects, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and software solutions.
· Aid in the evolution of the firm's data analytics frameworks and approaches, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
· Keep abreast of the latest developments in data analytics, advocating for the adoption of innovative tools and techniques.
· Provide support on various ad hoc projects and tasks as needed.

Requirements
· Current enrollment in an undergraduate program focusing on Data Analytics, Accounting, Business Analytics and Information Technology (BAIT), or a related discipline.
· Solid foundation in SQL and Excel; familiarity with data visualization platforms such asPower BI is advantageous.
· Robust analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with a knack for interpreting complex data landscapes.
· Understanding statistical principles and experience with languages such as Python is preferred.
· Exceptional attention to detail and comfort working with extensive data sets.
· Strong communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration within a team environment.
· Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities and efficiently allocate time across tasks.
· Previous internship or practical experience in data analytics or a related area is preferred.
