Job Description
Amazing Athletes is seeking a passionate and skilled Youth Soccer Coach to join our team. As a Youth Soccer Coach, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children ages 2-10 by helping them develop fundamental soccer skills and a love for the sport. Our goal at Amazing Athletes is to provide a fun and engaging environment where children can learn important life skills through sports. Our soccer specific classes will focus on letting kids learn the basic skills of soccer in a fun and safe environment.
Responsibilities- Teach soccer skills and techniques to children ages 2-10 using a fun, play based curriculum that tells a new story each week (must be creative and have a great imagination!)
- Plan and execute age-appropriate soccer drills and activities.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
- Create a positive and inclusive environment for children to learn and grow.
- Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to help children improve their soccer skills.
Requirements
- Experience coaching youth soccer, preferably younger children
- Knowledge and passion for soccer.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and connect with young children.
- Patient and enthusiastic personality.
- Reliable transportation to travel to different locations as necessary.
Schedule
Right now we are looking for someone to work mostly afternoon and weekend hours.
Coaches would be required to work 2 or 3 afternoons per week as well as Saturdays and Sundays. If you cannot work on weekends, please do not apply.
Weekday hours would be between the hours of 3-6pm but would be in a 2 hour block. Some days would be 3-5, some days 330-530, some days 4-6pm. Must be available during these times. Weekends would be between 9am and 12pm Saturdays and Sundays. Weekends would also be in 2 hour blocks. Each day would be for 2 hours. We do also have one soccer class at a school from 1230-130 each Wednesday that would be available for your schedule but not mandatory.
Would be looking at 8-10 hours per week worth of classes.
Coaches earn $20.00 per hour to start.
