Advanced ENT amp; Allergy is seeking an experienced ENT Medical Billing Specialist to join our team. As an ENT Medical Billing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement for the services provided by our ENT physicians. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented, knowledgeable in medical billing, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.Summary of Responsibilities
- Verify insurance benefits for patients
- Enter charges accurately and in a timely manner
- Process claims for private and insurance reimbursement
- Post payments from patients and insurance companies
- Investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies or issues
- Follow up on insurance denials and appeals
- Adhere to established billing guidelines and regulations
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient billing operations
- Assist with other billing and administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing, preferably in an ENT or healthcare setting. Experience in a private practice setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical billing codes and procedures (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS)
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and billing software
- Excellent understanding of insurance reimbursement processes and guidelines
- Attention to detail and ability to accurately enter and process billing information
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- High level of professionalism and integrity
