Access Services is hiring a Director of Quality and Compliance to work with our Intellectual Disabilities and Autism programs!

Our Intellectual Disability amp; Autism service line believes inempowering individuals’ abilitiesandunlocking their full potential.Ourprograms facilitate personal growth and help individuals reach their goals. We offercommunity-based programs, employment services, Lifesharing, and community living homes.

The Director of Quality and Compliance will:

  • Provide oversight, accountability, and consultation to programs within the service line, related to internal compliance structures and monitoring, quality improvement, and licensing/credentialing processes.
  • Assure oversight of regulatory compliance, development of value structures, and support programs through auditing processes.
  • Ensure strong incident management, risk management, and safety processes within the service line.
  • Track any changes in regulatory or legal expectations to services delivered and ensure that service line leaders are aware of and prepared for change.
  • Lead program leadership in the development and tracking of programmatic key indicators to drive quality improvement.
  • Make recommendations to service line leadership regarding use of evidence-based practices and quality improvement.
  • Support fiscal improvement through training and monitoring of compliance measures related to billing and funds recoupment.
  • Hold effective relationships with external regulatory and oversight entities.
  • With the Vice President, hold program management accountable to quality and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • Employees must meet all qualifying and ongoing job criteria including background checks, physical examination results and clearances.
  • This position requires the ability to travel during a normal workday to successfully carry out the expectations of this position including attending offsite meetings, providing services in the community, and providing service oversight and supervision. Therefore, employee will need to drive their personal vehicle and/or an agency-owned vehicle to meet these expectations.

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a related field including human services, social work, psychology or special education is required, and a master’s degree is preferred.

Certification: Office of Developmental Programs Quality Management Certification, preferred.

Experience: Three (3) years of direct experience working in human services including one (1) year of direct work in compliance required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational and oral/written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and state and county officials and the general public.
  • Ability to effectively develop mentor staff on structures and processes.
  • Strong clinical understanding and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of licensing and compliance regulations.
  • Familiarity with licensing and regulatory compliance requirements with the capacity to increase competence to fluency.
  • Proficiency in, or ability to learn and use workplace applications, platforms and technologies.

Essential Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

  • Work in a standard office environment and utilize desktop computer equipment daily.
  • Able to lift or move items associated with sedentary work and light work (exert up to 20 lbs.)
  • Routinely travel to offsite locations and regional office locations as necessary. May require the same physical and lifting requirements as an employee who regularly provides direct care should they be needed to assist.

This is afull-time position with an annual salary. Salary available upon request.
