Hire Resolve is currently assisting a prominent healthcare accounting organization in their search for a Tax Manager with CPA certification. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of tax compliance, planning, and reporting for the organization. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of tax filings and provide proactive tax strategies to minimize tax exposure. In addition, you will lead a team of tax professionals and collaborate with external advisors to stay up-to-date with tax regulations and industry trends.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all tax compliance activities, including the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns
- Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimize the organization's tax liability
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations
- Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on tax-related matters
- Manage relationships with external advisors, including tax consultants and auditors
- Lead and develop a team of tax professionals, providing coaching and guidance
Requirements
- CPA certification is required
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Minimum of 7 years of tax experience, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
- Experience with tax planning, compliance, and reporting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
