Job Description

As a Hardware Security Engineer at OnLogic, you will be part of a team that protects our industrial computing products from supply chain cyber risks. You will also enable modern orchestration management to provide our customers with a zero touch deployment experience. In this role, you lead the management of hardware security controls and orchestration for our own products. You will collaborate with our engineering department as well as our external partners to design, develop and support key hardware security services. You will engage in projects from trusted zero trust supply chain and zero touch fleet orchestration. This full-time position will be located on site in South Burlington, VT / Cary, NC / Taipei, TW.

On an average day, you'll
  • Define and execute security assessments, new products validation, and solve problems when needed. Ensure the completion and resolution of all validation for all areas of the product.
  • Assists in architecture development and assessment.
  • Manage project schedules and improvements for product security.
  • Work with manufacturing teams to make prototypes.
  • Work with Product Management and other teams to find and evaluate opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain all needed documentation.
  • Develop external partnerships with key trusted supply chain stakeholders.
  • Support product security and customer communications on related issues.
  • Experience with Linux ecosystem engineering.
  • Experience with computer engineering.

Requirements

  • You have a bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software or Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of embedded security management experience, preferably in the industrial PC industry.
  • Experience with trusted supply chain security (TPM, Secure Boot, FIDO FDO ).
  • Experience with fleet orchestration (Microsoft Autopilot, Microsoft Azure DPS, Red Hat Ansible).
  • Design and implement security features in our embedded hardware.
  • Experience in firmware security management.
  • Experience in IoT fleet orchestration management.
  • Collaborate with teammates on Cybersecurity, Electrical and Application Engineering to implement secure and compliant systems.
  • Understanding of hardware architectures, BIOS, and Linux.
  • Extensive experience with microcontrollers, their architecture and operation.
  • Familiarity with common security standards and certifications (e.g. Common Criteria, MITRE. FIPS, ISO 27001).
  • Ability to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
