Local Food Delivery Driver - $19/hr

Parallel Employment Group, in partnership with Buffalo area manufacturing client, is seeking a qualified 1st shift Food Delivery Driver.

Your primary responsibilities are making deliveries to established and recurring customer base within Buffalo and the surrounding areas. Possess good communication and customer service skills as well as work well with other team members. Must also be familiar with reading an invoice and deliver proper products to customers.

6 am - 2:30 pm; some overtime required

$19.00 per hour; based on experience

Requirements

• CDL is NOT required, but applicant must have a valid clean drivers license.
• Must be able to operate 16-22 ft refrigerated truck / van.
• Have the ability to fulfill all physical demands of the job which require handling cases from 2- 50 lbs. each. Lifting and delivering multiple packages 30 lbs. average using a two wheeled cart or dolly into restaurant kitchens.
• 6 am - 7 am start time; Typical shift 8-9 hours / 5 day work week including weekends (Full or Part-time with potential overtime opportunities).
• Be able to use pallet jacks and two wheeled hand dollies.
• Present and possess good customer communication skills; must work well with customers and fellow employees.
• Must be able to read and understand invoice slips to deliver proper product to customers.
