Job Description

Position Summary

Are you innovative and passionate about current trends and creating digital marketing campaigns to enhance brand presence and build customer loyalty? AutoRentals is looking to hire a digital marketing manager to support the marketing team in effectively promoting its message across all digital channels. In this role, you will develop and execute strategies for owned and earned media channels to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.

Through research and market analysis you will make recommendations and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and brand visibility. On a daily basis you will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to coordinate integrated marketing campaigns, creating and curating compelling content for various platforms, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines to attract and retain new customers and business partners. You will complete ongoing competitive market analysis to identify new opportunities and make recommendations for site optimization, as well as stay up to date on the latest social media travel industry trends to build AutoRentals’ online reputation and highlight our expertise and authority in the space.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and manage digital marketing for AutoRentals, including SEO, email marketing, content development, and product amp; brand marketing
  • Establish and execute a digital marketing strategy to distribute content
  • Work with and manage a team of marketers, and other stakeholders to maintain AutoRentals’ digital presence and online reputation
  • Maintain consistent brand messaging across all channels
  • Identify, analyze, and measure trends and content to assess how well it’s performing and optimize user experience, as well as identify new opportunities for scale
  • Create and maintain an editorial calendar to deliver targeted content
  • Create and manage content for AutoRentals’ messaging, and other forms of digital communication, including participation in travel forums.
  • Research, track, and analyze consumer behaviors and trends and implement research into digital marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies and marketing techniques
  • Stay up to date on the latest media trends, and implement them in AutoRentals’ marketing campaigns, to enhance AutoRentals brand visibility
  • Measure and report performance of digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies and plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing owned and earned media for a consumer-oriented brand, preferably in the automotive or travel industry.
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices and experience with SEO tools.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms and analytics tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Familiarity with the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing.
  • 5 years of experience is preferred.
