Job Description

1 Resource Group is currently looking for Admin Assistant for Manufacturing Plant in Baytown. The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative and clerical support as directed to meet site objectives for the site. You may also be assigned additional duties as directed, involved with Operations, Logistics, Quality, and Procurement and other site administrative responsibilities. This role will be reporting directly to the Site Manager and will interact with all departments across the business. Work will be a mixture of reactive and planned tasks prioritized by the Site Manager. You will be responsible for supporting various stages of the business, ensuring that processes run smoothly and efficiently. Your attention to detail, teamwork, and commitment to safety will be essential in maintaining high-quality masterbatch production.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES

Compliance certification administration (ISO, IATF) and participate in internal Audits.

Create, edit, and format documents using various software programs.

Typical duties include general clerical, receptionist, and project-based work.

Responsibilities may be unique to a specific function or department such as Procurement, Safety, or Quality but are mainly administrative in nature.

Perform data entry tasks to input and update information.

Collaborate with team members to gather and compile data for reports and presentations.

Assist in the development and implementation of document management systems.

Conduct quality checks to ensure documents meet established standards.

Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

Maintain and organize data/information on SharePoint and TEAMs sites as needed.

Support the planning and coordination of major Site processes, programs and/or projects to ensure functional goals are completed on time and with optimum quality.

Ensure consistency and quality of communications and presentations, publish organizational announcements to company intranet and develop communications to internal and external stakeholder groups as needed.

Assist in onboarding new team members including securing desk space, IT equipment and setup, and first day coordination.

Provide varied administrative support activities including, but not limited to, maintenance of files, forms and various project documentation, order supplies, ensure payment of vendor invoices, and provide backup support to other site disciplines, as needed.

Maintain accurate and legible records that align with ISO requirements as well as Good Documentation Practices (GDP)

Fulfill any other reasonable responsibility or duty as identified or requested by the Site Leader

Maintain department Key Performance Indicator’s.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

Serves as the first contact for inquiries and oversees all aspects of the front desk.

Maintain complete and open lines of communication with other personnel, functional groups, or departments to facilitate operations and interaction in the organization.

Keep Site Leadership Team informed of status and progress, by ensuring that regular and periodical communication takes place.

Maintain professional conduct, attendance, and high ethical standards in the workplace, complying with company's policies and procedures.

Fulfill mandatory training requirements applicable for department and job duties as appropriate.

Documentation is accurate and concise.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.

Pay $18-20 DOE
