We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager to lead our email marketing and CRM initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to engage our growing real estate community - from driving member retention and engagement, to maximizing bookings revenue and lead generation through targeted email campaigns, intelligent segmentation, automated workflows, and personalized nurture/drip campaigns. You’ll partner closely with product marketing counterparts across business lines throughout your work, advising on best practice and ensuring alignment in messaging, strategy, and prioritization of goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive CRM and email marketing strategies to drive member acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Oversee the end-to-end management of email marketing campaigns, including campaign planning and scheduling, contact strategy, segmentation, scheduling, deployment, and performance analysis.
  • Develop and implement segmentation strategies to deliver highly targeted and personalized email communications that resonate with different audience segments.
  • Implement automated email workflows and nurture/drip campaigns to deliver timely and relevant content to members at various stages of the customer journey.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and data analytics, to leverage customer data and insights to optimize email marketing campaigns and enhance the customer experience.
  • Lead A/B testing and optimization efforts, in partnership with product marketing counterparts, to improve email performance metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
  • Monitor and analyze key email marketing metrics and KPIs to track performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Manage the ESP vendor relationships and the data integration with the platform.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in CRM and email marketing, with a focus on automation, privacy/data protection and personalized customer experiences.
  • Coach and mentor team members to develop their skills and expertise in CRM and email marketing strategy.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in email marketing and CRM, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Experience with email marketing automation platforms and CRM systems (e.g., Iterable, Eloqua, Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo).
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data-driven insights to optimize email marketing campaigns and drive business results.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to inform content development and messaging for email communications.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute long-term CRM and email marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Experience managing and leading cross-functional projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Passion for real estate investing or an understanding of the BiggerPockets brand and community is a plus.

Compensation

  • The base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $105,000, based on experience
  • This role is eligible for a 10% annual bonus based on company performance
