As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing multiple operations of the tax practice area, delivering quality tax services, and contributing to the firm's reputation. Responsibilities:
- Utilize your expertise in taxation, including flow through taxation, partnerships, and S-corporations
- Provide tax compliance, planning, and advisory services to clients
- Review work papers prepared by staff, recommend changes, and implement additional documentation based on applicable tax law and firm policy
- Supervise and mentor tax associates and senior associates to ensure timely and efficient completion of tax engagements
- Participate in business development activities to expand the client base, including attending networking events and industry meetings, and contributing to thought leadership initiatives
Requirements
- Active CPA license is required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on Tax
- Strong knowledge of tax accounting, compliance, and all types of tax returns
- Proficiency in tax software and MS Office
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and deadline management skills
- Exceptional client service and relationship-building abilities
- Strong leadership and personnel management skills
- Willingness to travel locally as needed
- Authorized to work for any employer in the United States
