Hire Resolve is a trusted recruitment agency specializing in finance and accounting positions. Our client, a reputable CPA firm, is seeking a dedicated Tax Staff Accountant who is a CPA candidate. As a Tax Staff Accountant, you will work closely with clients to provide tax planning, preparation, and compliance services while gaining valuable experience towards becoming a Certified Public Accountant.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual and business tax returns
- Research and interpret tax laws and regulations
- Assist in tax planning and strategies for clients
- Respond to tax notices and assist in resolving tax-related issues
- Prepare financial statements and reports for tax clients
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Currently pursuing CPA certification or already a CPA candidate
- 1-3 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a public accounting firm
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills

The annual salary target for this job in this market is $75,000 - $90,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the market demand, education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
