The CNC Setup Operator utilizes advanced skills to set up, operate, and optimize CNC machines for precision machining of high-quality components.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Proficient in the setup and operation of CNC machines.
- Strong understanding of machining principles and precision measurement.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and problem-solving for CNC machine issues.
- Knowledge of tool selection, cutting speeds, and feeds.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with CNC programming is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and follow safety guidelines.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic math and measuring skills.
- Experience with precision measurement equipment preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 32 pounds.
- Extended periods of standing and walking.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling tools and materials.
